One-to-One Mentoring

What is Mentoring at Mercyview?

The Christian experience has never been an individual one. Instead, from the onset of the church, it is a community striving together to follow Jesus. There are many examples in the New Testament that speak to this reality. This is a way of life and heritage that is passed down through generations. We believe that there is an excellent opportunity for specific and disciplined growth in Christian life through mentoring relationships. It is evidence of spiritual life to acknowledge a need for help, and we believe mentoring is the path for providing this help.

At Mercyview, we desire to help believers grow into maturity by connecting young/newer believers with mentors to walk with them for a set amount of time working toward a particular aim in their own maturity.
